The first AQUA7000 with the two optional modules for decapping and recapping integrated, has been installed in a big hospital in Bilbao. These two modules provide flexibility and help to optimize the workflow of the laboratory.

The user can enter in the entry area both tubes capped and decapped. At the decapping station, the system checks with a detector if the tube is capped. The machine decapps all the tubes capped to which has been requested at least an aliquot.

The recapping module allows to recap secondary tubes. The software configuration allows defining which secondary tubes should be recapped, depending on the destination. As for the secondary tubes, the device has a hopper that contains caps. The user enters the caps to bulk in this bin.
